Biloxi, Miss. – With nine World Golf Hall of Famers, eight Masters Champions and 20 major championship winners overall, the 2014 Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic Presented by C Spire boasts the strongest field ever, and is ready to display some of the best golf in the world and welcome visitors to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 2012 MGRC Champion Fred Couples is joined by fellow World Golf Hall of Fame members Ben Crenshaw, Nick Faldo, Tom Kite, Bernhard Langer, Sandy Lyle, Colin Montgomerie, Larry Nelson and Nick Price.
The overall strength of the field is evident as 20 PGA TOUR Major winners covering 33 titles, as well as 22 Champions Tour Major winners covering 37 titles, will compete. The final field is as follows:

The Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic Presented by C Spire will take place March 21-23 at Fallen Oak in Biloxi. A field of 81 will play for a total purse of $1.6 million and a $240,000 first place share. In addition to presenting sponsor C Spire, the tournament is uniquely funded by 12 consortium sponsors, who see this event as an ideal way to showcase the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The tournament is administered through the MGRC Foundation, Inc.
